Bad boys making dramas worth watching

Ohoy!

I've started watching Crows Zero (again, again..) and i LOVE it! In general i think girls has got a thing for bad boys and delinquents, don't we? Anyway, i think dramas get that extra spicy edge when there's a bad boy either fighting for his honor or falling in love with the sweet main character *dreaming away*

I got a few suggestion for you guys that I hope you'll love. It's really anything from the bully in class, the bad boy who rules the school and the yakuza fighting like hell for territory :)

(in totally random order)

Review: The story starts with Takiya Genji, the son of a Yakuza boss, entering Suzuran All-Boys High School as a freshman with the goal of conquering it, a task never acoomplished in the history of Suzuran. Genji declares his ambition of conquering Suzuran to his father, who failed in the task. They agree that if Genji conquers Suzuran, he may inherit his father's Yazuka family. (dramacrazy.net)

personal score: 8/10
(A lot of fighting, yakuza and people getting involved in other people's business. Sometimes they overdo it with the special effects though)

Review: Genji and his victorious G.P.S. alliance find themselves facing down a new challenge by the students of Hosen Academy, feared by everyone as 'The Army of Killers.' The two schools, in fact, have a history of bad blood between them. And the simmering embers of hatred are about to flare up again, burning away any last remnants of the truce they had so rigorously observed until now.(dramacrazy.net)

Personal score 6/10
(Still a lot of fighting with bad boys, yakuza and people getting involved in other people's business but it's not as good as the first movie)

Review: After finally getting the courage to confess her feelings, Qi Yue (Rainie Yang) was handing her love letter to Yuan Yi (Kingone), but by a stroke of bad luck, he did not see and walked passed her. The person standing in front of her was the troublemaker of the school, infamously known for his devilish ways. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 8/10
(it's the best taiwanese drama i've ever seen and it was also my first ever drama and for that it gets high points. It can however drag out a bit in the later episodes but it's really good.)

Review: Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di tries to avoid confrontation with the F4 at all cost because she knows what happens to those that stand against them. However, when Jan Di's friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4's shoes, she's forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 5/10
(Kim Hyun Joong is starring as the bad guy's best friend and a dream for any girl to date and that's enough for me :p. It's really good but i could probably cut out like 5-6 episodes - it drags out a lot.)

Review: It revolves around a troublemaking high school student named Kim Kyung-soo who finds himself transferred to the last school that will take him, the prestigious Volcano High. Kim is drawn into fights between different clubs, a Manual that is told to hold great power, and a group of teachers that will do whatever possible to keep the students in line. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score 9/10
(i have watched this film again and again for years and i just think it has everything. Fights, school drama, great humor, great characters and even some romance)

Review: Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie) is in for a rude awakening when she finds that she will be the homeroom teacher of 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. The students have multi-colored hair, sloppy uniforms, and show absolutely no respect to her. What the class and the rest of the school does not know is that Yamaguchi Kumiko is actually the 4th generation heir to the Ooedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 6/10
(it has some humor, some cute guys, some romance and some good old-fashioned "sometimes my fantasy world takes over"-weirdness but it also has a lot of bruises, black eyes and broken bones from fighting which magically disappears within an hour or two, making it a bit unrealistic)

Review: Half a year has passed and Shirokin Gakuen has closed down. Through some twist of fate, she is offered a job as a teacher in Kurogin Gakuen. She becomes the teacher of a delinquent 3D class which make her previous students look like angels. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 5/10
(It's not as good as Gokusen 1 and 3 and I don't think it has the same vibe but Kazuya Kamenashi is starring as one of the main characters and who wouldn't wanna watch an entire drama just because of him ;) )

Review: Sawatari Goro now works at Akado High School as a vice principal. Sawatari goes far away to a southern island to search for Yankumi, and convince her to work for Akado. Yankumi accepts the offer, only to find that her class (again) is full of punks, where two rival groups of students are always at each other's throats. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 6/10
(The third Gokusen drama is just as good as the first one. Some of the younger actors exaggerate their facial expressions a lot when they are supposed to play mad but it's just kinda funny. The fact that two groups fight for domination of their class is a great extra twist)

Review: Clever high school girl Ye Won falls into an unlikely relationship with the wealthy and arrogant Eun Seong. The king of the school, Eun Seong is quick with the fist and insufferably rude, but Ye Won realises that beneath his tough exterior, he is struggling to overcome the shadows of his past.(dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 7/10
(It's a great story with a deep twist and the characters are great. There's both humor, friendship, romance and bad boy action)

Review: Each year, a randomly chosen class is pitted against itself on an abandoned island in a cruel game of survival. The rules of the game are simple: 1) it lasts three days; 2) Each player starts with food, water and a "weapon"; 3) if more than one player survives, everyone dies (by detonating special electronic necklaces; 4) there is no escape. (dramacrazy.net)

Personal score: 5/10
(Great movie, lots of fighting. It's not so much bad boy action it's more "we're stuck out here alone, we go insane and try to kill everyone"-action but there is a bit of humor in it and some cute guys too)

I hope you guys enjoy watching some or all of these dramas/movies and please do report back what you thought of them - both like and dislikes ^^

Live life like a korean drama

While surfing around the internet i found something which i'm sure only real asian dorama dorks (like myself) will understand and agree on. Unfortunately i don't know who first posted it so i can't give the rightful person credit but omg this guy/girl has sooo captured the essence of the matter ;)

(link above)

To honor whomever created these funny (but true) facts first here's a little treat which totally match some of the more humorous points.

Playful Kiss - your typical cute, dorky, romantic korean drama

(The clip: a trailer to the drama just to give you a taste of the crazy main character)

Princess Hours - another hillarious drama that also has sad and romantic scenes

(The clip: Chae Kyung thinks she's going to die because she sees her guy naked)

Which of the 50 points are the best? Leave a comment below :)
